Japanese Kumihimo (Braided Cord) Disk - For Round Cords.

Great craft item for making fancy Japanese-style kumihimo braids.  Disk is approximately 5 inches in diameter, and about a quarter inch thick.  Its made out of a firm yet flexible plastic material, and the position register locations have a small groove which firmly holds the cord during the braiding sequence.

Disk comes with a project cord set, and instructions on two fold out sheets (see pictures below).  Instructional text is Japanese, but is very generously illustrated so should be easy to follow even if you can't read it.

This would be a good item to accompany one of the books I offer about kumihimo braiding.
