This Plug-n-Play Harness is used to connect any of the Coils listed below directly to your RX-8 wiring harness without having to cut and splice into your factory harness. This Harness adapter fits the Ignition Coil Packs listed below: GM D581 (12558693) Truck Coil GM D585 (10457730-Delco, 19005218-Delphi) Truck/Yukon Coil GM D513A (12570616) LS2/LS7 First Design GM D514A (12573190) LS2/LS7 Second Design MSD LS2/LS7 Multiple Spark Coil PN# 82478 Note: This is ONLY the adapter harness necessary to connect LS2 coils to your factory RX-8 harness. This item does not include Coils, Mounting Bracket or Spark Plug Wires. This Auto Wiring Solutions adapter was manufactured using high temperature cross-linked polyethylene TXL wire & OEM Connectors, pins and seals to ensure a secure, long lasting, moisture free connection at the Ignition Coils and at the Harness interconnect. These are the same components used by the OEM on the factory harness. This Auto Wiring Solutions adapter is built with 4" long leads. This is long enough to allow for mounting of your LS2 coils in the same location as your factory coils. If you prefer a different length to relocate your Coils in a different location we will build your adapter up to 18’’ in length at no additional charge. A slight increase in price will be added for lengths over 18’’ to cover the additional wire and sleeving cost. We build our RX8 to LS2 coil adapter harness using High Temperature braided fiberglass sleeving instead of plastic convoluted tubing, this sleeving resists abrasion, chemicals, and under hood temperatures. This High-temperature sleeving allows close proximity to Exhaust & Engine heat without worrying about wire damage or plastic convoluted tubing cracking.
