Heathkit HR-10B unbuilt never assembled.

The Heathkit HR-10B is the most under rated Ham Band Receiver kit ever made. It has crystal controlled band spread tuning. Everyone knocks this receiver, but this was the dream radio of many thirteen year old amateur enthusiasts in the late 1960's to early 1970's. Today people compare it to a Drake or something and forget what it meant to acquire, build, and search the bands with difficulty, but finding endless satisfaction. I have three Drake radios, but I still tune around on a Heathkit GR-81 when I want to feel like a radio listener. Anyone can punch the buttons on my Icom and find anything, but tuning the HR-10B; that is patience and skill.

I have a printed version of the HR-10B manual for this specific version of the kit and every single part from the inventory is present.

Every single part is Heathkit new old stock from this HR-10B kit EXCEPT three parts;
1) The factory assembled tuner and bandswitch assembly was removed from another HR-10B kit; this assembly was always inside  the enclosed chassis and was a factory made and adjusted part of the kit.
2) The nine color wiring harness was removed from another HR-10B kit. It is just 20 gauge solid wire and I considered making a new one, but these 40 year old wiring harnesses are meticulously tied with a wax like twine carefully knotted by a skilled worker back in the day.
3)The dial cord and spring was removed from another HR-10B kit. String and a spring.

The faceplate and dial face are wrapped in plastic and have never been opened. The HR-10B Heathkit green cover were wrapped and I removed it for the photos and inspection. The cover is flawless. The chassis is new, but not wrapped, it has some tiny almost not visible corrosion points and some smudges on the back clearly seen, which might buff off.

You know this, but resistors, silver caps, and disc caps last indefinitely, but you should test the new old stock forty year old electrolytic caps.

I am including a good working condition assembled HRA-10-1 plug in crystal calibrator.

I have several of the boxes, bags, and wraps, bit I do not have all of them. The outer shipping box and two smaller inner boxes are included.
