THIS IS A CUSTOM KIT
To most car audio guys, it's common knowledge that Alpine does not sell recone parts or kits for their Type R line of subwoofers. This is a custom kit that includes all the needed parts and adhesives to do your own custom repair of your Alpine Type R 12" subwoofers such as the SWR-1222D. Coil is an upgrade for the SWR-1221D.
**NOTES**
#1 - You MUST reuse your original terminal ring, cone, and surround.
#2 - If you can successfully remove your old dust cap; you can retain the subs original look. Otherwise we have included a nice inverted poly dustcap for a sweet custom look.
#3 - Kit includes all the adhesives, shims, and wires needed.
#4 - This is NOT a drop-in kit - this is a professional kit.
#5 - Instructions are not included, but there are several videos online with instructions on how to recone a speaker.

1 - 6 1/2" poly subwoofer dust cap
1 - Bottle of professional-grade CA Adhesive (for voice coil)
1 - Spray bottle of CA Adhesive Activator
1 - Bottle of professional-grade black rubber speaker adhesive
5 - Large 0.15" voice coil shims
2 - Tin application brushes
2 Ft of lead wire rated up to 1600W peak
2 Lengths of shrink tube for coating your new leads

International Shipping
If you choose the "International First-Class Mail" shipping option...Be aware that this method can take anywhere from 5-40 days to arrive to you, and provides NO TRACKING NUMBER. A small percentage of these packages are held up in Customs for up to 4 weeks. WE CANNOT CONTROL THIS!! If you want to avoid this issue, then pay a little extra for the "International Priority Mail" option, and expedite through Customs to receive your package in 4-12 days.
Note: Our Horn Diaphragms, and several other items ship by Flat-Rate Priority Mail by default. Buyers must pay their own taxes, fees, and duties.
Shipping Options
All orders ship within 1 business day. All products, with the exception of speakers**, are shipped by USPS 1st Class Mail or USPS Priority Mail. Speakers are generally shipped by UPS Ground unless other arangements are made.
For overnight shipping within the U.S. choose the Express Mail option. Express Mail orders are guaranteed within 2 days by USPS, but nearly all of them arrive overnight if orders are placed before 3pm CST.
30 Day Return Policy
- If item is returned due to seller error...Seller will replace item, or issue FULL refund.
- If return is due to buyer error, buyer changing their mind, or buyer no longer wanting/needing the product, then seller will issue full refund MINUS shipping and handling charges originally paid by the buyer.
- If original shipping and handling was listed as "FREE", then seller will issue the full refund MINUS a charge of 30% of the original total for restocking and to cover original S/H.
- ALL RETURNED ITEMS MUST BE IN BRAND NEW, UNUSED CONDITION.
