GORGEOUS VICTORIAN ELECTRIC BLUE GLASS & SILVER PLATE PICKLE CASTOR CRUET JAR NR

Up for auction with NO RESERVE, as all our auctions have run for the past 8+ years, is a gorgeous Victorian Period Electric Blue Glass & Silver Plate Pickle Castor or Cruet. The set is quite beautiful with a Deep Electric Blue Glass insert, featuring fine pressed designs throughout. The Silver Plate stand is the original, the insert fits perfectly and it is quite ornate with a very fancy embossed base and ornate tall feet. The frame is marked Toronto Silver Plate Company, which was bought out by Meriden B. Company in 1902, so you know the set is 100% guaranteed to be Victorian. The Tongs also look to be the original and feature nice period designs. The set displays beautifully, standing approx 14" tall by 3-3/4" wide. The Silver Plate Frame and Tongs are in fine all original condition, showing only the most minor wear. The glass insert shows no chips, cracks or repairs. I don't think you are likely to find many Victorian Period Pickle Castors as beautiful as this up for auction with no reserve ! BEST OF LUCK WITH ALL OF OUR ESTATE AUCTIONS !!

Returns:
We make great effort to accurately describe each item listed. Returns are accepted, if either condition, country of origin or dating we state is significantly incorrect. In such cases we refund your shipping costs as well. Like you, we are only human, and make mistakes. Hopefully, not too many. But remember, the items you see are antiques. Hence, have an expected amount of wear from normal use. As such, returning an item because we failed to mention the tiniest bit of wear, or barely discernible flaw is not acceptable. Nor do we accept returns based on buyer's remorse, change of taste, or because a buyer did not realize how "small" four inches might be once in hand. Also all returns must be posted within 3 days of delivery confirmation.
