This auction is for a very nice 1986 Hasbro JEM Merchandising catalog or Style Guide.  These catalogs were given out to advertisers and retailers so they had correct art and images of the JEM product line to use in their ads.  They are rare and often do not come up for sale. 

This seems to be an update guide with only the newer pieces included.  It is in great shape with just some minor wear to the corners of the folder.  The lower left corner has a ding, but beyond that there is only some minor rubs on the front.  The back does have a 3 inch tear to the lower right corner.  Nothing is cut out of any of the pages.  Included are 7 loose pages that slide into the inside of the album cover much like a real record sleeve.

The cover features the JEM logo and a record outline.  It measures 12x 12 with the interior pages being just a bit smaller.

Please note the light crease to the upper left corner.  There is also another stress that does not break color along the top edge.

It contains the following things:

Color ad slicks for the following characters

Glitter 'N Gold Jem and Rio and Flash 'N Sizzle Jem

Rio and Video of the Holograms

Clash of the Misfits

Glitter 'N Gold Logo's Black and white line art page with all of the above characters

These catalogs almost never see the light of day and the details contained are invaluable to the collector that wants to know everything about how JEM was developed.
