IDE 44 Pin Adapter for mSATA SSD with 2.5" Housing -

This unit can be used as an economical 2.5 Inch SSD when assembled.  It uses a 2.5 inch lightweight aluminum housing, coupled with mSATA SSD  combination to IDE adapter. When assembled, it can operate in a variety of operating systems. Such as DOS, Windows 95, 98, XP, 2000, Vista,Win 7, Linux, Unix, and so on.

The adapter allows the installation of mSATA SSD as system disk, boot the operating system directly, without having to install any drivers.
