This vintage Yamaha "RBX-1000" bass was the top of the line for Yamaha's RBX series which were very high quality and being built in Japan. It was originally $1200 new and is an amazing bass. Features a 6 bolt neck and active electronics these are very hard to find in the US and are rare on Ebay. The Translucent Black finish looks almost like dark walnut and is very cool. The bass looks great with only normal scuffs from age. It's also missing 3 tuning gear covers as you can see in the pics but they are only cosmetic. The neck is nice and straight and the frets show almost no wear. This is a very unique bass and has deep tone and vibe.
