A Splendid And Rare Grant of Arms granted to ROBIN ANTHONY BLANTYRE GOWLAND, 1987.  Tam House in the parish of Crondall, In The Parish Of Surrey Esquire, late Lieutenant of The Royal Navy 1946-1962 served Europe,med and Suez. Knight of the Order of St. Gregory, Knight of the Order of St Lazarus of Jerusalem. Also was management of a string of companies including Fairway and was a Fellow Of The Royal Society Of Arts.

 

The hand-painted arms are splended to look at please look at my photos, with banner enclosing the motto beneath “SOLA.JUVAT.VIRTUS.’ 

 

A Vellum parchment signed by A Colin Cole, the Garter King of Arms and V.P.Broke-Litte, For Clarenceux – both at the base.  ‘Recorded in the College of Arms’ London statement on reverse signed again by Cowlad Swan. York Herald and Registrar.

The measurements for this document are width 21inches by height 15inches these measurements are approximately.

 

With two fine seals in skip-pets attached to the parchment by blue ribbon and presented in the original red leather bound case and with its protective original outer box. The scroll also has its original tissue paper and bands wrapped round it. Please note there might be a mistake with the reading of the signatures as they are difficult to decipher.
