A stunning, very rare to find, true vintage, very pretty candy pink & small white polka dots, pure lawn cotton sailor dress by Laura Ashley, with very beautiful styling and lovely tailoring which creates that gorgeous hour-glass shape. Delightful sailor detailing, including large sailor collar at back and unusual sailor knot at front. Gorgeous long floaty skirt with slit hand pockets in the side seams ~ Depending on your height, this dress is mid-length to maxi. Side zip for ease of dressing. Sleeves are approx elbow length, very slightly gathered at shoulder and ending in slightly gathered cuffs for definition.
ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS ~ a VERY rare 70s/80s vintage Laura Ashley dress, beautifully detailed to create a very 20s / 30s look and a very 40s / 50s starlet jive rockabilly war bride look, with the ribbon ties, nautical collar, & the lovely subtle hour glass shaping, ~ with the polka dot print & the exquisite candy pink colour just adding that extra touch of delight...This dress is just divine.
Looks fabulous worn in the day with sandals, or out at night with high heels and bright red lipstick...ABSOLUTELY ideal for weddings, as a wedding party guest, or as a bridesmaid, could even be worn as a wedding day going away dress for a 20s or 30s, 40s, 50s themed wedding.
