Orvis Sheffield England Pewter Fishing Flask

This is Martin Milner's personal Orvis Flask. Made in Sheffield, England, this pewter flask is a well-worn beauty. Martin carried this flask on many fishing expeditions. The front is deeply dented and the engraving is slightly worn.

This is one of those situations where you'd like an inanimate object to be able to tell stories, because this flask would have plenty!

Among items to be auctioned are Martin's original Adam-12 contract, the actual Smith & Wesson .38 Special used on the Adam-12 series, a sterling silver bowl given to Martin by TV Guide for his "Favorite New Series 1961" nomination, Martin's Jack Webb Award trophy and certificate, very rare photographs from Adam-12 & Route 66, various items from his time hosting "Let's Talk Hook-Up", fishing reels, split bamboo rods, important scripts, police badges & patches, movie props, Adam-12 & Route 66 props and mementos. There will be many, many more items than we could possibly share here.

As Martin's wife of 57 years, Judy Milner has amassed an impressive and fun collection of antiques. While Martin was shooting on location for Route 66, Judy would be exploring the local tag sales, flea markets, and antique stores. Judy has always had a keen eye and broad knowledge of interesting things, old and new. From 500-year-old pewter to a 60s era Gucci dress, Judy has brought together a multitude of exciting objects. Now, Judy has decided to take part in this sale with Martin and offer a small collection of carefully selected objects. These items will be identified in the auction description.

All items will be accompanied by a unique certificate of authenticity. Certificates will be signed by Molly Milner (Martin's daughter) and Rick Barnes (Sale Administrator), with select special items having Martin's signature in addition. A photo of the affiliated item will be printed onto each certificate.

Limited series of signed photos will be released as Martin signs them. The photos will be embossed with Martin's library seal and accompanied by a signed COA. Photo series will typically number to 12 per image.

Many items will be shipped with small surprises, or collectibles, given as a special "thank you" to each of our winning bidders.

We hope to have something available in every price range, so please bookmark us and check back weekly for new items.

On behalf of the Milner Family, We'd like to thank you for visiting our sale and we hope you enjoy yourself. Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions

About shipping:

We understand that shipping prices might seem high but please keep in mind that we don't set the prices and make no money on shipping. We decided at the beginning of the sale, that we would use USPS Priority Mail for all of the items to ensure safe and reliable delivery of these great items. Included with every item, no matter the size, is an elegant signed certificate of authenticity. We have decided to ship these flat, based on the fact that most people prefer to not have their certificates folded. While we strive to appease all bidders, we don't have the manpower to take special shipping requests for the MMPC auctions. Your understanding and patience is greatly appreciated.
