I'm selling this very cool platinum disc, awarded to the Manics for more than 300,000 UK sales of 1998's This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours.
I've had it for years and years. It was on my wall until 2008 when I moved out, and it's been kept carefully in storage ever since. Back when I bought it, I worked for a PR company who did promotions for Sony (the Manics' label). As a result, I was surrounded by these kind of discs. I spent quite a long time making sure it was real before I invested in it and it matched every spec of a disc sent direct from the label. I can't tell you 100% it isn't fake and I really don't want to be sued, but I definitely bought it with a great deal of confidence that I wasn't getting ripped off at the time. It looks awesome on the wall. I hope you can give it a good home, because I can't anymore and it needs to go to a fan! I'm going to make sure it's posted in the most protected way possible. Unfortunately, I can't post this abroad due to how much it would cost. I am happy to organise a pick-up in person in London (I live in zone 2).
