Installing just one layer of Fatmat will cut vibrations, stop resonance dead, reflect heat and increase your passenger comfort level.
Fatmat MegaMat is a flexible composite consisting of a naturally coloured, butyl based, viscoelastic damping compound with a thick, highly reflective (Silver Only), polished aluminium constrain layer, a pressure sensitive adhesive and peelable film backing. It is designed to be bonded onto substrates that are vibrating close to their natural frequency. This composite offers very high damping over a broad temperature range while adding minimal weight to the existing structure.

- Highly reflective (Silver Only), polished aluminium constrain layer.
- No logo for those who prefer a plain finish.
- Self-Adhesive mat with pressure sensitive adhesive.
- Very flexible with peelable film backing for easy fitting.
- Comes with simple fitting instructions and minimal, recyclable packaging.

N.B: When looking for sound deadening please avoid bitumen based products as they don't offer anything like the performance of the butyl based mats. They solidify when cold, melt when hot, have a lasting smell and are a false economy. Amongst the butyl based stuff (Dynamat/Fatmat) you'll find Fatmat is by far the cheapest and is in fact a better performer than Dynamat.
