About Archie Comics

In December 1941, Archie Andrews, Betty Cooper and Veronica Lodge made their debut in issue #22 of Pep Comics. According to Archie Comics more than one million copies of Archie comics are sold every month, 30 percent of which are bought in Canada — the highest per capita readership internationally.
