The Ash Dragon Ember Sifter... the perfect companion accessory to the already popular Ash Dragon Dustless Ash Scoop.  Both are described fully in their respective auctions listed in my other items.

  Ash Dragon  products are made in the U.S., using U.S. Steel, by U.S. citizens.  The Ash Dragon scoop is designed for simple, one-handed operation and its low-profile design allows you to easily reach inside your stove.  It measures 12"L x 7"W x 4"H and with it's mouth open, it measures less than 6" high.  This is a very well built, sturdy unit with an attractive and durable powder coat finish.  I designed this with my wood insert in mind, but it also works well with the smaller side loading stoves and stoves with ash pans.  If you currently clean your stove with a shovel and pail, and are looking for a better way, this is it!

When you need to remove ashes from your stove, there will always be hot coals among the ashes and the sifter is used to sift and separate (not to be confused with lift and separate)  the larger hot embers from the ash.  You simply scoop into the bed of ashes working from one side to the other, placing the coals on one side, and leaving the ash on the other side.  Once the coals are separated from the ash, the Ash Dragon does its work, dustlessly removing the remaining ash.
