1960s Vintage German small Footstool Plant stand
Curved triangle Space Age Here is a terrific vintage Atomic retro plant stand or foot stool with a red/ black Formica style seat over wood. The pattern is black background with a bright red cross hatching pattern. There are some slight surface scratches from normal use. The gold metal edge band really offsets the red black top. The band is nailed around the teardrop kidney rounded corners, using very small nails or brads. The ends do not meet leaving a small 1/8" gap. There are three medium dark stained tapered pencil legs which feel a tiny bit rough. The legs screw into sockets in wooden wedges glued under the seat. There are no screws or nails apparent and the glue holds everything tightly. The wood underneath looks tight and original with no damage. About 10.5" (27cm) on each side and 10.5" (27cm) high. Then it is in the hands of the international shipping miracle-workers who are working as fast as possible for you. Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs, if any, will be prior to bidding/buying. No, I do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as “gifts” as international government regulations prohibit such behavior. I have been actively selling as an international seller for three years. Only once have I had a challenge with the international post and things were favorably settled. The postal system in Europe is mostly very efficient, and they handle packages with the care that you would expect. While it may take longer to get things to you than from next door, rest assured they will get there. The best way is for you the buyer to ask for signature service, however in some cases this can be very expensive, and may not function internationally.
