Our shipping rates across the United States and Canada are determined based upon the weight of the parcel, according to rates set by Canada Post. We charge shipping at cost plus a small handling fee to offset the cost of packaging materials.

 

Shipment  is by standard mail service, which typically takes 5-8 business days within Canada, and 7-10 business days to the US,

provided there are no delays in customs clearance.

 Express post is extra .  The shipping rates set by Canada Post make it worthwhile to purchase multiple items, as shipping cost tends to reduce when multiple sets are packaged together.

As a further example of shipping rates applied across the US and Canada, we are able to package, typically, 10 sets of cups and saucers in a 12"x12"x12" box. Such a package costs approximately  USD $41.00, again, based upon the weight of the package.

 

Please keep in mind that these rates apply to cup and saucer sets only. Trio sets, or other combinations of items, will be subject to the rates applied by the post office.

 

NOTE: for purchases which involve other items or combinations of items, we package the items and have them weighed prior to issuing an invoice.

In the unlikely event that there is a significant overpayment on shipping, we will immediately issue a refund via PayPal.

 

 Rates to international destinations will vary based on the destination . All parcels destined internationally are shipped via airmail.

      Shipments involving 3 or 4 sets of cups and saucers are assessed the same shipping rate by the post office, again based upon the applicable weight range.  Parcels weighing over 2 kg  are no longer considered as  "small packet", and shipping rates  must be varified at the post office.

 

For larger-volume purchases, please complete the "Check Out" process for your items, and we will package your items and verify/advise the shipping costs. We will then issue and invoice to you, and complete the transaction.

 

Please be aware that we have shipped hundreds of parcels to destinations across the globe, and after  many years on eBay, our record in terms of safe arrivals is nearly perfect.

There may be delays due to customs inspections, but so far, every parcel shipped has ultimately arrived at destination.

It has been our experience that shipments to Australia and New Zealand can take a very long time to arrive . 

  Accordingly, we will ship items to those countries with pleasure, but do so by Air Only. 

Please note that we do ship promptly after  receipt of payment.

Our parcels are mailed regularly ship on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

We work hard to ensure that our fellow eBayers are happy and satisfied with their eBay experience and with their purchases. Our descriptions will always identify damage if there is any; in describing our items, we will only use the expression ‘mint condition’ to indicate items that are new. Our highest ‘rating’ for older pieces and antiques is ‘excellent condition’.  

 

We check the condition of items before we post them on eBay and again when preparing to pack and ship them. 

On occasion, due to the large volume of inventory and frequent handling of items, we have found minor damage has occurred.

 In such cases, we will immediately notify the buyer and work to ensure a satisfactory resolution. 

 

If we have any information about the history of an item, we will include in the posting description. Similarly, if an item is signed, handpainted or bears special markings, we will do our best to indicate accordingly.

 

We are very proud of our photographs, and have been privileged to receive many compliments on our images.

It is true, however, that colouring can be impacted by browser settings . Please keep this in mind when you are browsing our photos.  

Our picture editing is done to ensure clarity and visibility of the features and characteristics of the items we post on eBay. We make it a point to diligently and fairly reflect the nature and quality of the items.
