These vintage French metal letters are in an assortment of sizes as shown in the photographs. The letters vary in size from 5/16" (five sixteenths of an inch) to 11/16" (eleven sixteenths of an inch) tall. (0.9cm to 1.9cm tall).

They were used for sign writing. Each letter has two small pin holes. You could pin the letters onto a wooden board, sew onto fabric or glue onto any material.

You could either use the letters as they are or paint them with metal paint.
