VERY RARE!

Collectors item, a PC110 from IBM, only retailed on the Japanese domestic market these tiny PC's became a style icon in Japan. Powered by a 486 CPU and having just a 640x480 dstn display these are now considered under powered compared to most mobile phones these days!

This one comes with the 16mb RAM upgrade, the docking station and floppy disc drive. Also included is a pcmcia 260mb HD.

Item is in good condition although the battery doesn't really hold a charge now, but it's easy to get a replacement as it's the same as a video camera. It has one fault, a common issue. A fuse has blown on the main board that will stop the PC powering up when started in the dock due to me using an accessory that drew too much power from the keyboard socket. There used to be details and photo's online in Japan on which fuse it is that needs fixing, but the PC still works fine without it. If you want to boot from floppy you need to position it on the dock, start it up and then immediately click the dock home. Job done.

PC still boots from internal flash, CF card or PCMCIA drive.

PSU is Japanese and will need a step down transformer from 240v to 110v. I think you could probably hack one from another IBM laptop as it draws 1.3a from 10.5v DC supply. As this is a Japanese import the keyboard is also Japanese. Basically this means it's a US keyboard with a few extra keys to enable the entering of Kanji.
