Made from natural coloured, grade A, heavy duty Cotton Duck Canvas - the skirt and scalloping are golden yellow.

Height: 9’      Width: 10’ 6”          Length: 18’   WallHeight: 6’ 4”

There are two substantial main poles which support the ends on a “cartwheel” assembly. Ropes attached to the spokes pass through eyelets in the canvas to be pegged down outside. The finials on top of the poles are painted yellow to match the scalloping.

All ropes are included and a good quantity of hand cleft ash pegs. Additionally there are plenty of substantial iron pegs for the skirt which we found to be more reliable.

The door is laced down both sides and can be opened up to form an awning using two additional painted poles (included). The seams at the bottom of the lacing on the left hand side have opened up and frayed which needs to be repaired. This is the only known damage.

The hessian groundsheet is laid over a large stout tarpaulin.

The tentcomes in three canvas bags, plus a separate bag for the ground sheets and is easily transportable by car. It is quite a heavy tent though and demands at least two people to erect.

Also included are two home-made, cotton dividers with multi-coloured fleur de lys stamps. They can be fixed over the inner spokes to form separate compartments at the ends or draped over a curtain wire between the poles to divide the tent inhalf.
