Welcome to this auction for my Haynes Roadster kit car Fed up of working on cars for other people we (Me, my brother and a friend) decided to build this from scratch in 2012 and it took around 6-7 month to get were it is now! The car was based on the Haynes Roadster kit car book and the donor car was a 1992 2.0l Sierra The chassis and body were modified to be 100mm wider in order to fit me and my brother in it( neither of us are up for slimmer of the year or would make good burglars!) The chassis is fully welded with an aluminium chequer plate floor and the body was bought from AGM sports cars before being split and widened All the details and parts along with further work required are listed as follows: Good Bits 1.6mm 25x25mm box section chassis fully welded Aluminium side panels Chequer plate floor pan AGM Sports cars body work Sierra 8v twin cam engine - 2.0 litre Fuel injection Serra 5 speed box Sierra back axle Disc brakes all round Braided hoses Stainless steel fuel tank Stainless steel exhaust link pipe Digital speedo / rev counter and indication TRS multipoint harnesses K&N Style air filter St / St Bulk head New clutch fitted when rebuilt Engine fully stripped and painted as part of build Alloy wheels with Yokohama Parada tyres all round - only done 120 miles Adjustable coil over suspension all round Nylon suspension bushes Sports seats - drivers is on adjusters All electrics wired in and working Comes with Log book and VIN Plates from donor Sierra Work required to finish Front indicators reversing lights Centre tunnel trim requires re-making and fitting Gearstick Gaitor Drivers seat could do with lowering 25mm - sits higher due to adjusters Rear harness mounts need moving back to allow adjustment Chassis and suspension in bare metal and require paiting Needs new ignition barrel and steering cowl as my mate lost the key! SVA Test I am sure there are a few other bits and pieces but certainly nothing major - after getting it to were it is now we did 3 track days at anglesey circuit without a hitch and had a great laugh! The car is located in Lowton, Warrington (WA3) and collection is from there and Cash on collection Viewing is available by prior appointment between 9am and 6pm as it is in my mates compound Only selling as i have now moved to York with work so now don't have the opportunity to finish it or use it.
