A black higloss body made of basswood, loaded with passive Hotwire Vintage Jazz pickups, a maple/rosewood neck, waxed and oiled for fast fingerings, Hipshot Y-key machines and a machting bridge - that´s the Proto Jay Black bass! Sounds like twice the price!

The color of scratchplate may be determined by the buyer. Active electronics such as the J-Retro 01, or the new Richter 3Band can be added on request. Soundfile was played passive.
