Its time to hang my boots up I am sad to say.
For sale is my ZZR1100 D2. I have thoroughly enjoyed riding this bike but age and weather are against me.
I will include a set of Oxford soft panniers and a bike lock if the price is near to what I am looking for.
The V5 says the vehicle has been salvaged because the cost of repair was more than the value of the vehicle (Cat C) which seems drastic. I was informed by the previous owner that he had dropped it (at under 10 miles per hour) on the right hand side and claimed for it. I can assure you it was only cosmetic damage (scratches) Pictures to prove.
In reality I bought the bike from him, repaired a cracked indicator surround and filled a few scratches and painted the panel. As you can see from the pictures the bike looks well. You can still see the scratches on the decals (you can no longer purchase them from Kawasaki). Pictures 5 to 11 show the condition of the bike as I bought it. The panels fitted on the bike are the original ones and were only cosmetic damage.
I have changed a couple of things on the bike the first being a headlamp upgrade to the Xenon HID kit. Then I did the digital clock upgrade running power from a fused accessory port in the left hand storage compartment of the fairing.

I recently put a chain and sprocket set on. There is a tool kit and handbook under the seat I will also include the Haynes manual.
All in all this is a fantastic bike ready to ride away.
Please remember the tax is not transferable under the new rules.
I work nights so please leave a message and I will get back to you.
If this bike had not been categorised as cat c then I would be asking around £2000 for it.

Any questions please feel free to ask.
