Made of old 100% cotton velvet, heavy, thick and dense fabric, quite hard to find even in vintage clothes. The color is dark green petrol - approx like in the pictures. The comfortable fitted bodice impresses with gently rounded neckline and soft pleated shoulders. The long bouffant sleeve ends in straight line, split cuff closed with two rolled loops and rounded glazed buttons. The bodice is seamed in a deep "V" waistline. Five glazed buttons rear fastening - so you will need some help for dressing :)x The calf length skirt beautiful gathered around the waist ( straight at the back) falls down in medieval line to calf length in its original hem. Has her usual front hanky pockets lined in soft polyester fabric  - should not miss the embroidered handkerchief :)   

 This rare piece is in unbelievable  immaculate condition, freshly dry cleaned and holds the Laura Ashley vintage floral label - made in Made In Great Britain. The label size is cut but certainly it was marked in size 16 UK.  Please note: this action is only for the Laura Ashley green petrol dress / size 16 UK. The burgundy sister is listed separately.
