We know a lot about this motor and even have a video showing the difference.  Victor shows this part number fitting pre 6229718 serial numbers and the HS5719W fitting post. The main differences are in the intake/exhaust ports. Mercruiser made them smaller in during the post 6229718 models and the HS5719W comes with both gaskets making the set more expensive.
