This Rookwood production vase stands 5.25" high by 3" in diameter.  It is a Rookwood 5oth Anniversary vase with the special set of hatch marks in an arc on the base.  This vase has a nice alibaba form with a rounded shoulder and a rolled collar.  This vase is embossed with a beautiful band just below the shoulder, in a stylized Daisy and leaf motif.  It is glazed in a rich, deep royal blue ground with hints of purple.  The Daisies and leaves have great markings and they really stand out because the glaze thins on the high points.  This vase is well marked on the base and dated 1930.  It is in excellent condition with invisible restoration to a small surface chip under the rim.  It makes a beautiful presentation!
