This set is:

 A Unique Barclay Transport Set in Very Good to Excellent Condition.

This Classic Series Transport set has a paint condition of 98% and shows very limited play wear.

When manufacturing operations by Barclay ceased toy production in April of 1942 to manufacture metal parts for the WW II war effort, this set was a result of their process resuming again in 1945. In an effort to use up remaining white rubber tires, after the switch to the black synthetic rubber tires, these cabs and trailers were produced for a reletively short period of time. A set in Mint Condition is extremely scarce and is a rare find. This set falls just below "mint". Part of what prohibits this set from being mint is the tab on the lower ramp is missing and the previous owner bent the tab up to hold the cars from rolling off. It is still a very fine specimen that should be in your vintage Barclay Collection.
