This pen makes soldering to circuit boards so much easier! All you do is 'draw' on the copper or pre-soldered pads. It helps the solder flow around the component and helps it to bond to the track or pad. It is even better when used in conjunction with flux-cored solder. It is completely non-corrosive and safe for surface mount components. These are required when doing very small surface mount work as it helps to 'suck' the solder under the component and ensures a bond every time! 


When you receive the item the chisel tip end will be dry. You need to shake the pen and depress the nozzle. The flux will then flow into the tip and it is ready for use! This item is sold loose so it saves on postage and packing costs.
