A MESSAGE FROM ROBIN ZANDER
During 1967-68, Fred Brace lived up the street from me. We met just hanging around the neighborhood, eventually forming a band called Butterscotch Sunday. I had been in a band before that called The Destinations and Fred would show up once in a while when we would play out. I was 14 - he was older and had a car! Fred was a cool bass player - he had all the best equipment. He had the first Sun Bass Amp I'd ever seen, an Echoplex and Wah Wah. He also had a Hammond and a Wurlitzer, which we played through a Leslie speaker. Sometimes I'd use it with the guitar to get a particular sound. Here’s a sample of our typical set list: ---------------------------------------------------- Autographed by Robin Zander, Rick Nielsen, and Tom Petersson from CHEAP TRICK Please consider making a donation of any amount via Paypal to |
