eBay
This is a Rover pre production prototype of what became the new Mini

This was built in approx 1998 and as far as I can tell was a running car
it was then stripped and sent to a company to test the door seals

You will notice the Rover emblem in the glass, the headlights are different from what you see on the new BMW Mini
also notice the vents on front wing area. This would have been a Cooper S as had a scoop cut out of bonnet and also different petrol cap

The car has some damage as can be seen from the picture. There is NO engine

What you see is what I have

It shows that the car was not all BMW designed and Rover had a lot do do with the new Mini

This is probably the only one in the world. Buy it and put in your museum as is or your specialist Mini company
Or maybe put on the road and have a 1 off

Whatever you do people will talk about it as it is a piece of history

Am happy to sell abroad, please contact me before bidding though

I can assist in loading as we have a fork lift so can put in lorry or container or on recovery truck

Please no time wasters. This is a one off (I think)

If you search the forums you will see over the last couple of weeks a lot has been said about this car and you can see
the history of the new Mini
