Very rare Commodore Amiga CDTV player - tested and working.  You only get a few opportunities a year to buy one of these on eBay so don't miss out!

You should really check out the history of this machine on the CDTV wiki.  The initial pricetag of $1,000 back in 1991 along with fierce competition from the Philips CD-I made the machine a financial failure, but a great rare collectible!  Imagine what people were saying 20+ years ago about a $1,000 gaming system!  People were beside themselves when the Xbox One listed at $500 a few months ago!

Here is what is included:
  • Original CDTV player
  • Original CDTV remote
  • Original CD tray
  • Power cord and S-Video cable
  • A cool $3.00 catalog from the system launch.  Has info about the games at the time.
I have tried to take photos of the key components so you can get a feel for the condition.  The only item really to note is a 1" scratch on the top of the machine.  I assume this will be in a cabinet, so you won't even see it...

I tested the remote with what I could.  The volume control worked well.  I don't have any games to play on it, so most of the features on the remote were unavailable to me.  It obviously still works given it controlled the volume.

This thing is heavy.  I have selected the lowest cost shipping method, but you may want to pay to get it there faster, which is okay by me.  I have listed priority 1-3 day mail as an option.  I will also be adding insurance on to this to protect us both.

Please let me know if you have any questions at all.  I will ship SAME/NEXT day so bid with confidence!
