Breathtaking Antique Nippon Covered Cracker/Biscuit Jar
Measures approx. 8" high to top of lid and 6.5" wide
Gorgeous Pillow shaped body resting on 3 proud feet.
Excellent Condition. No cracks or chips by eye. Two tiny little dots come up on the bottom of one foot under the UV light. By the eye it looks like some dots of paint which will probably come off. Will leave up to buyer. Feet are all smooth to the touch.
In the pictures you do see some brown marks on the inside rim. There are some of these probably made from the lid and use. They do not show up on the UV light and they feel smooth. So abit of wear to the inside rim and some of the Morriage around the body. A minimal amount of wear to the gold around the top lip but the gold painted on the feet and body is in lovely condition. Soft Flowers in pinks/purples on a teal green band.
The Lid is excellent Condition. Nothing shows under UV light and the gold is in good condition - some wear to one section on edge.
