eBay
You are bidding on a C3 race car which has race history and is ready to run.  This car was originally raced in Utah in the 1980's and 1990's in SCCA events locally and nationally.  I acquired the car in 2006 and began a rebuild and retrofit of the car to modern SCCA safety standards in a vintage racing configuration.  The retrofit included new roll cage built to SCCA specs, new dash board and gauges, new 454 BBC engine, accusump oiling system, new fire system, new 32 gallon fuel cell, new interior aluminum, lexan windows, new M22 transmission and shifter, new wiring harness and revamped brakes.  We have run this car in SCCA and SVRA events on the west coast and it is lightweight, reliable, fast and an easy car to drive.   It was built, assembled and maintained by Vintage Exotics which constructs, maintains and campaigns professional level vintage race machinery and was completed in a professional manner.

Car specifications:

Engine: 454 BBC with 11:1 forged pistons, 4 bolt mains, steel crank, Edelbrock heads, roller cam and rockers, MSD ignition, dual plane factory Chevrolet Racing intake manifold, Holley 850 double pumper
Oiling system: Road racing oil pan with Accusump system
Fuel System: 32 gallon ATL fuel cell with bladder manufacture in 2009, Edelbrock high volume mechanical fuel pump
Exhaust: Hooker large diameter tube headers and sidepipes with mufflers (its still loud !)
Transmission: M22 gearbox rebuilt with Hurst competition shifter
Suspension: Factory Corvette with enhanced spring rates, fiberglass rear spring and adjustable Koni shocks
Brakes: Upgraded factory Corvette brakes
Steering: Factory Corvette manual steering with pro style collapsible steering column and removable Momo wheel
Wheels and tires: 15" lightweight period correct wheels.  Optional wet tires and wheels

This is a perfect Group 6 car for SCCA and has current log books and is both good looking, good sounding and fast !  I have a 1982 Utah title which is clear and is attached to the body.  The frame has been changed with an earlier frame which was both stronger and seam welded.

We are moving this car because we have over 20 race cars in our Vintage Exotics collection and need to make room for new projects.  Please let us know of any questions that you might have or additional information that you would like.
