Some poorer quality locks offered on Ebay are only cut across the springs, which does absolutely nothing towards seeing how a lock works.

This is a highly recommended item, as it will allow you to re-pin your lock in hundreds of different combinations

this lock comes complete with

12 Extra Top Pins

Without a doubt, this lock is the most economical way to get a fully functional repinnable cutaway lock! 

You can start with just one plain pin fitted, and then keep adding them until you have all 6 plain pins fitted.

When you have mastered that configuration, you can start over again with just one security pin fitted, and then keep adding them until you can open the lock with all 6 security pins fitted.

You can then start again with a mixture of plain and security  pins in the lock.

There really are many combinations of pins that you can use !!

This is a brand new, solid brass,  6 pin Euro cylinder practice lock, fitted with 6 standard pins.

Also included are a selection of 30 Extra Pins to allow you to re-pin this lock into any combination of pins that you choose.

The lock has been cut and machined to a very high standard to expose the inner workings of the lock, enabling you to see the pins, springs and the shear line. 

The shear line is where the two sets of pins line up to allow the lock to open. (Being able to view this is very important when learning how to manipulate a lock)

Some poorer quality cutaway locks that are offered for sale are only machined across the springs,

 which does not allow you to see the shear line..... This one does !!

These locks are precision engineered to ensure that the springs and pins cannot fall out of the lock with normal handling.

This lock comes with one key.

All locks are dispatched by First Class post within 24 hours of receiving cleared funds (usually same day dispatch).
