For sale is a vintage 1967 Mosrite Mark I Guitar.  This guitar dates to right after the contract with the Ventures ended.  I purchased this guitar from Olivia's Vintage 11 years ago and it has been stored safely most of the time that I have owned it.  As far as I know, everything on it is original with the exception of 2 things.  When I purchased the guitar the frets were worn down to nearly nothing.  I had them professionally replaced with medium sized normal frets that would have been of the time period when the guitar was produced. The second was that I replaced the spring in the vibrato tail piece.  The only other thing that could possibly not be original is the pick guard as it is still rather white and doesn't show too much age wear.  This was the pick guard on it when I purchased it and it did not mention if it was replaced or not.  It had the original Kluson Deluxe tuners which are in very nice condition, original heavy metal hat knobs and original pick up selector switch.

It does have a few bumps and bruises, but it overall very clean.  It does have some minor checking in the finish showing its age.  There is a chip in the finish on the front and a few chips on the headstock.  It has a mark on the body by the tail piece, what looks to be a few belt marks on the back and some wear around the edges.  I did my best to photograph these.  The neck is straight and the frets in great condition.  I had this refretted in 2006 and it wasn't played much from there.  The vibrato arm is a bit loose so it points downward when it is played.  Original pick ups that are both functioning properly and it doesn't have any crackling or noise when the knobs are turned, pickups are selected or at the input jack.

This is a vintage guitar and it does have wear described above and pictured and does have age appropriate wear.  With any used guitar I always recommend it be professionally set up to your liking once purchased.

The case is an older case, but I don't believe it's an original since it has a made in Korea tag and I couldn't find much information online about the types of cases used.  It does look similar to the original cases.

This is a great example of a vintage Mosrite guitar.  Please see the pictures and description for condition details and please ask any questions before bidding or buying.  I'm more than happy to provide any additional information or pictures that I can.

This auction is for the United States only.  Shipping and insurance for this is $100, however, if actual shipping and packing is less than this, I will refund the difference. This is a used vintage guitar that is sold as is and I will not accept returns.  Please ask questions before submitting a bid or purchase.  The guitar will be bubble wrapped inside of the case, which will then be wrapped with peanuts inside a larger shipping box for safety.  I will gladly try to accommodate any specific shipping requests by the buyer.  Payment is expected immediately after purchase and the guitar will ship within 1-3 days of payment.
