This fabulous tenor is freshly OVERHAULED. Pads replaced, mechanics oiled and regulated. Some minor dings removed from the bow and neck shows some repair from the past, but now the saxophone plays great from top to bottom.
Has got a really fantastic, deep, dark sound with plenty of harmonics. Very good intonation. No stuffy tones etc.
Selmer Serie I is considered one of the best models of the company. They are harder to find especially in silver plate with engraving.
There is also a great addition - SOLID SILVER NECK made by Jupiter with original Selmer octave key. It is brighter and more free blowing than the original one which has a nice resistance. With these two necks you can use basically every mouthpiece made from brightest to darkest.
