A rare circa 1939 "Joe Dimaggio" model 107 glove. It's a Spalding "Marvel" model with a triple tunnel web. The glove overall is in fantastic original condition. The factory silver stamps against the black leather is eye catching. It's a monster of a glove at 10 1/2"H X 11 1/2" W measuring along the pocket. The black rolled leather piping is 100% intact. The lacing is all original and intact. The welting and stitching still retains much of its original color. The leather itself is really superior inside and out, soft, smooth and supple yet very sturdy. Just a great all around glove and a treat to put on the hand, really flawless quality.
