20" Figure C Number 2 by Jules Nicolas Steiner French Bisque Antique Doll Sleep Eyed HARD TO FIND. This is a graceful antique French bisque doll by Jules Steiner! She has some damage on her bisque head. Marked on the back of her head with, "Figure C No 2 J Steiner Bte SGDG Paris". She has hard to find blue glass lever activated sleep eyes that are are marked "Steiner 3" on them. She has a closed mouth that is in an upturned smiling expression, delicately painted upper and lower eyelashes, mauve eyeshadow, brushstroke eyebrows, and pierced ears, and cork pate. Her original human hair wig is brown/auburn with bangs and flowing feminine sausage curls. She original Steiner body with the purple showing underneath. She has pull strings on the side of her body which are silent. The holes in her back is where the sound came out when you pulled the pull strings, the tape around her torso is where they cut her in half to put in the mechanism to make her talk... Wearing an antique white cotton dress with lace detailing on the sleeves and bodice and a light pink sash around her waist. Her outfit is competed by a full set of antique undergarments, socks, antique black leatherette shoes, and a straw hat a pink silk bow on her hat circa 1880 Doll is clean and from a non smoking environment.

This is a graceful antique French bisque doll by Jules Steiner! She has some damage on her bisque head. She has a left eye lower lash repair, she has a right eye upper lash repair and the back of the head is repaired. You can't see it unless you shine a light inside the head which we have pictured below.

Marked on the back of her head with, "Figure C No 2 J Steiner Bte SGDG Paris". She has hard to find blue glass lever activated sleep eyes that are are marked "Steiner 3" on them.
