Please take the time to read my new and improved (and shorter) selling policies. This is to prevent misunderstandings between purchasers and myself, and is in everyone's best interests to fully understand:

Return Policy/ Warranty Disclaimer: All items are sold as is with no warranties expressed or implied. Descriptions of items and condition are based on physical inspection at or prior to auction listing. Items which state a level of functionality at time of listing does not extend any guarantee of same operation or functionality upon receipt due to the possibility of shipping damage (but if I say something is functional then it means I did check it before listing - I don't sell junk as jewels). Every item I list has a minimum of one picture and bidders can request additional photos, closeups, details, etc. at any time via e-mail. Additional information requested through e-mail will also be posted to the auction if it pertains to the saleability, or lack thereof, or corrected application, of the item. Requests for returns must have a reasonable valid explanation to be honored, otherwise all sales are final.

Shipping/ Damage Policy:I try to determine the most cost effective shipping on an item between UPS and USPS and offer shipping accordingly. Buyer pays stated or actual shipping costs via USPS or UPS ground, 50 state U.S. and Canada sales only unless as noted. Stated shipping costs may include a materials fee - bubble envelopes, packing peanuts, and the daily news does cost money! Some items may require specialized packaging - for those I state additional packaging costs in the auction listing. You wouldn't want your oil painting on canvas to ship in a brown paper wrapper, would you? If you are outside the USA /Canada please contact me first before bidding. Depending on the item I may agree to ship to your location with payment in US dollars.

I WILL NOT DECLARE AN ITEM LESS THAN THE ACTUAL SELLING PRICE OF THE ITEM FOR CUSTOMS PURPOSES ON INTERNATIONAL SALES. PLEASE DO NOT ASK ME TO DO SO, THAT IS ILLEGAL AND GROUNDS FOR CANCELLATION OF YOUR BID.

It appears that USPS got sloppy this last holiday season and created some headaches for me, so - If an item is received damaged through shipping you should begin a claim through the shipping service if the item was shipped UPS for under $100 value - their insurance is automatic. If I have a package returned here damaged I will inform you of the situation and attempt to claim a refund of the shipping costs. If I can get a refund of the shipping cost I will refund you your full amount. If I cannot get a refund on the shipping I can only refund you the purchase price of the item.

Poor Feedback/Zero Feedback Policy:I welcome new ebayers to my auctions! After all, we all had zero feedback once. But, I've been burned a few times by ghost bidders that disappear after the auction end, so on any item that exceeds $250 from opening bid or from bid escalation, I reserve the right to request your contact information through eBay services. I may also refuse bids from bidders with poor feedback ratings, or bidders that I have had negative prior dealings with, at any time for any auction at any price. Legitimate bidders are welcome!

Shipping Policy: Please, if you want confirmation that I have recieved payment add delivery confirmation to your payment and NOT anything signature required. My town's post office is extremely busy and not the most efficient place in the world and it's so slow I go to the next town over to do my shipping. I can't do that for a signature required so I have to wait it out over there. Thanks!

If an item is shipping USPS and buyer wants to have tracking on the package, buyer must indicate this through communication after auction end so I can include the extra charge(s) into the total shipping cost.

About me: I am not an antiques dealer, I'm an automobile enthusiast (specifically the American Motors Corporation/AMC Javelins and AMXs). The majority of items I sell pertain to the collector automobile hobby (in season) but I do list antiques and collectibles as well. If an item interests you and you have any questions at all about the item, please e-mail me. You might know more about the item than I do. Be specific with your questions and I will answer them to the best of my ability. If I am misrepresenting an item due to my lack of experience with your specialty, please educate me and I will update the ad with corrected information provided I can verify your statements through a third party such as a Google search. Links to informational sites are appreciated. Additional information requested through e-mail will also be posted to the auction if it pertains to the saleability or lack thereof, or corrected application, of the item. I do not clean or recondition items unless as noted in the ad, usually only to confirm condition of the item where condition may be hidden by dirt or grime. I leave restoration up to the successful bidder. Additional photos/closeups available via e-mail, just ask for specifics. I am not an expert on other makes/models of vehicles either. Again, please ask questions! Request additional photos! If I'm listing parts for other makes/models it's because I ran across them and would rather see the parts get to a fellow car enthusiast who can help better their car with them, than see them go to the crusher.

Not-For-Profit auctions: Two times a year, I will host not-for-profit auctions for a week. I support the American Cancer Society Relay for Life in early summer, and in November, I hold auctions to benefit the children of my late best friend Kristina Paul - a true Angel who walked this earth, and passed away too young at 36 years of age on November 25, 2005. If an item is listed as not-for-profit, 100% of the auction sale price will go to the cause. I list these auctions this way because eBay has very specific regulations regarding donation auctions, and my friend's daughters' college fund does not fall under their specifications. I absorb all listing fees and final sale fees, and whatever I may have paid for the items when I acquired them. Thanks for visiting, and happy bidding!
