ESAB Smashweld 180 Amp MIG welder, Single phase, 240V, 13A plug, c/w Torch
- Professional fabricator quality Swedish Made ESAB MIG welder
- Very nicely made, with a good quality transformer.
- Excellent wire-feed mechanism - included roller is suitable for 0.6 to 1.0mm diameter wire
- Has 6 power settings.
- Works from a normal household plug. I've never had a problem with this, but like all powerful welders, if used on the higher current settings a lot you might start blowing fuses.
- Has stitch/pulse welding function with variable time delay - excellent for sheet metal work / car bodywork to reduce distortion
- Eurotorch fitting - comes with TBi Industries TBi150 torch with 3 metre long flex (this new torch was fitted in the last two years, £50 new)
- Has long and good quality mains lead and earth lead (with good clamp) - slight damage on mains cable has been insulated with electric tape.
- Looks a bit scruffy, and some of the yellow paint is flaking off, but overall the welder is in good working condition
- I've used this welder for everything from repairing car bodywork, to fabricating steel framework, etc.
- Comes with two-thirds full 15Kg reel of 0.8mm welding wire
Welder is located in Newbury, Berkshire (4 miles South of M4, J13) It weighs 50Kg, so I'm not keen on packaging it up for courier delivery, I would prefer the winning bidder to collect it.
