CHROME RAIL ROAD SPIKE FOOTPEGS

DESCRIPTION These vintage twisted railroad spike foot pegs came off of an old school Triumph chopper. The chrome is decent considering the age, but would benefit from some #0000 steel wool. There are some scraped on the ends and the mounting areas and some scratching and light pitting.

HISTORY I am cleaning out my parts bin - a bit of spring cleaning and putting up some vintage chopper, bobber and cafe parts. I also have a 1960 Triumph 650 pre-unit in a hard tail frame with title if you are interested. PLEASE CHECK MY OTHER ITEMS FOR SALE.

CONDITION These foot pegs are twisted and kind of funky but certainly speak to an era of custom choppers. The finish issues as you can see in the pics and described above. Please consider that these components are vintage and in all respects, they've held up better than I have over the years! Some are oily and greasy, but I like to keep them like that until I rebuild or refurbish them. I find that the oil and grease is about the best protector there is.  I believe the photographs accurately depict the components as they are. I am very willing to take additional photos and send them to you if you like, just send me your email address or phone # and I will send them to you. If you have any questions, please ask in advance. I have worked very hard to maintain an excellent eBay rating and I believe strongly in selling good parts to good people. The vintage motorcycle community is not very large and it is important to keep a good name and reputation.
