I recently bought some wonderful lace from a Paris auction house, all from the collection of one un-named lady (Madame X in the catalogue!).   I will be listing some pieces in the next few weeks.

This is a good long length of soft and supple linen bobbin lace. It measures 175 ins x 6.75 ins. Pale cream colour. Some areas of wear and small holes but in general good clean condition.  I think this is Milanese,most likely late17th/early 18th century.
