I recently bought some wonderful lace from a Paris auction house, all from the collection of one un-named lady (Madame X in the catalogue!).   I will be listing some pieces in the next few weeks.

This is a length of mixed bobbin and needle lace, an attractive 19th century copy of an earlier style.  Design shows small chalice with flowers. A little age darkened but apart from this excellent and clean condition, probably unused.  It measures 77 ins by 5.75ins.
