BOLEX MOLLER 8/19/1.5 ANAMORPHIC LENS

I'm selling the rare and extremely desirable Bolex Moller 8/19/1.5x anamorphic lens. The lens is very good shape, especially considering its age. Focus is smooth but there are some very light marks on the glass typical of older lenses that will NOT show up or effective the image in any way. The image quality is nothing short of spectacular and the Bolex Moller remains one of the best 1.5 anamorphots out there in terms of sharpness and picture quality. Lovely blue flares, sharp desirable image and close focus to about 2ft (Iscorama has a minimum focusing distance of 6 feet).

This anamorphic lens comes in a rare 1.5x squeeze ratio which is ideal for DSLR shooters. This lens is also very sharp at ALL apertures which is uncommon with anamorphic adapters.

This lens was serviced by Bernie at Super 16 inc in Feb 2016 (Can provide receipt).

The Bolex can be paired with lenses with the following maximum focal lengths without vignetting:

28mm - Micro 4/3rds (Blackmagic etc.)
50mm - APSc (Canon 7D etc.)
90mm - Full Frame (A7s, 5D etc.)

All example footage and stills were shot by the seller with this exact lens.

Also included in this sale are:

RECTILUX 3FFS - bought July 2015. In excellent working condition. Modified specifically for the Bolex. Will send Rectilux Owner's Manual via email. 52mm rear element to connect with taking lens. Some minor cosmetic scratches to the black painted metal. The Rectilux does not alter the quality of the Bolex in any noticeable way, it effectively turns the Bolex Moller into a single focusing anamorphic lens like the Iscorama.

REDSTAN ADAPTER -  works very well but shows signs of age. Included so you can use the Bolex without the Rectilux if desired. (You do not need this though but you may prefer to use it to connect to the lens instead of the Rectilux) Minor issue: There's a Fotodiox 55-52 step up ring stuck to it that I can't get off :o) meaning, as it is, it connects to 55mm threads not 52 as it should. Maybe you have strong hands and can twist it off.

STEP UP RINGS - This lens comes with a 24mm - 37mm step up ring for the rear tread on the lens. And a 37-57. You don't need these for use with the Rectilux but they may come it handy.
