This auction is for ‘Madness
on the Pier’, Danny Mooney’s painting of Madness’
historic gig on Hastings Pier on May 21st 2016. All proceeds go to St Michael’s Hospice (Hastings and Rother). Registered Charity Number 288462 The 144-year-old Hastings
Pier was almost completely destroyed by fire on 5th October 2010. A multimillion-pound redevelopment
followed, and on 21st May 2016 the pier reopened. This was commemorated
with a concert by Madness, who had last played the pier in the 80s. Local artist, Danny Mooney was there to
capture the scene. On 11th July 2015 St Michael’s Hospice (Hastings and Rother) was severely damaged by fire. It has remained closed to in-patients since. It needs to raise £1,000,000 in 2016. Click here for

iPad Pro with and Apple Pencil. It is presented as a one-off, 39 x 50.66 cm, unique,
un-framed, archival quality giclée print. It is signed by the artist and numbered 1 of 1. Danny Mooney lives in St Leonard’s-on-Sea. He has been painting
and making art for more than 25 years. In addition to studio work, for the last
3 years Mooney has been making at least one iPad painting every day. Mooney studied Fine Art at Goldsmith’s and Guildhall in
London. His work has been exhibited in the UK and America, and
is represented in collections in the U.K., America, Switzerland, Japan and
China. The print includes a 4cm white border, so the image is
35 x 46.66 cm. It is printed with archival inks on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag
