This very much sought after tax exempt 1971 Honda CB750K1 has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours.
We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it.
We all know what high prices these early CB750K fours make when done.....The single most important purchase for a classic restoration project is the bike to restore, whether it's going to be a commercial venture or just a hobby interest it all starts here!.
PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES........As you can see this bike has got a few bits missing, a few bits damaged/broken, a few bits rusty/corroded, a few bits non standard & a few bits are very nice indeed.
The wheels look straight as do the forks & yokes. Mudguards are both solid. Tail light assy is good. Carburetors are free sliding off the twist grip. Seat is in very good condition throughout. Chain guard is tidy. The engine is cosmetically clean, it turns over nicely off the kick starter – sounds/feels great & has compression BUT BEST OF ALL when we hooked it up to a good battery & fed it fresh fuel from a dummy tank it fires, starts, runs & revs.

The bike is currently unregistered. The registration process is reasonably uncomplicated.
WE
HAVE GOT THE ORIGINAL 1972 AMERICAN CERTIFICATE OF TITLE
We
will provide proof that VAT & Duty are paid on the NOVA system.
REGISTRATION
1.
You need to get the bike MOT’d.
2.
You need to prove the year of manufacture. The American Title will do
this.
3.
You need to have valid insurance on the bike. You can insure it on
the chassis number.
4.
Send all this paper work to the DVLA, who will charge you £55 for
the 1st
registration & the current fee for the road tax.
5.
The DVLA will send you your age related registration number.
