Hello, may I introduce myself?
My name is Alexa Calvo.
I am a reborn artist from Germany.
Together with my eleven year old daughter, my little six year old twins and my husband I’m living in the south of Germany.
I am lucky in reborning dolls and being able making other people happy with my babies.
Being able to design rebornbabies is really a very rewarding and enjoyable thing to do for me.
I’m very glad to present and sell my Precious Wonders on Ebay, making sure that they are going to find a lovely new home.
Today I proudly announce the birth of my new wonderful baby Milo. It was a pleasure for me to reborn a cute and very lively looking baby girl out of this kit. Thank you, dear Heike Kolpin for giving me the chance to style his prototype. I enjoyed every minute of reborning her!

Hallo, mein Name ist Alexa Calvo, ich bin eine Rebornkünstlerin aus Deutschland.
Ich lebe mit meiner kleinen elf jährigen Tochter, meinen sechs Jahre alten Zwillingen und meinem Mann in der Nähe von Heilbronn.
Das Rebornen ist für mich das schönste Hobby und ich bin sehr froh, dass meine Babys hier ein neues Zuhause finden.

It took me many hours to give her this very realistic newborn skin tone, using the 3D real skin method.
Using this technique I am able to create a very realistic effect.
I developed my own special way of coloring and nobody does the same.
The lifelike skin is hand painted in many different layers. This baby has got also delicate veining and capillaries.
Please notice!!! Her skin is very rosy and translucent - a typical look for a newborn baby and different to the skin of kids or adults.
Her nails have been tipped in a natural off white and varnished.
Her lips are colored in natural shades and sealed as well with satin varnish.
The colors are permanent, non-toxic and do not fade.
Finally I sealed the skin with Genesis Matte Varnish.
So it feels a bit rough with a skin structure and it looks matte.
Her painting on the hands and feets are very rosy.

Es hat mehrere Stunden gedauert, um die Hautstruktur so realistisch wie möglich zu gestalten.
Ich
färbe in mehreren Schichten um den gewünschten Effekt zu erzielen. Ich
verwende meine eigene Färbetechnik, so kann es nie ein Baby mit dem
selben Hautbild wie meines geben.

Babys
haben eine sehr rosige und durchschimmernde/dünne Haut. Deshalb hat
dieses Baby auch so eine Haut, in der Venen und andere Hautirritationen
durch scheinen. Sie ist ein Baby und so wirkt auch die
Haut.
Ihre Lippen wurden versiegelt, so wie auch die Nägelchen.
Die Farben sind permanent haltbar und ungiftig.
Sie wurde mit Genesis matte varnish versiegelt, somit hat sie eine mattere Hautstruktur und fühlt sich dadurch etwas rauer an.
Ihre Färbung der Hände und Füße ist mehr pink
Milos’s hair has been mono and micro rooted with high quality mohair in a blonde color.
This process is taking a lot of time but the effort has been worthwhile!
The result is very realistic and baby like!
To make Milo look like a newborn her eyelashes have been rooted so fine like a real newborn has, you might believe they are real.
Her hair at the forehead and the temples is partially painted in two blonde colors.
I also draw her eyebrows very fine and detailed so you will believe they are real!

Ich habe Laura ihre Haare im Endhaar Rootingverfahren gerooted.
Dafür habe ich hochwertiges Mohair verwendet in der Farbe blond.
Das
ist ein langer und aufwendiger Prozess, der sich aber beim Ergebnis
sehr lohnt. Sie sehen aus wie echtes Babyhaar.
Desweiteren habe ich an ihrer Stirn, im Gesicht und den Schläfen feine Härchen gezeichnet.
Ihre Augenbrauen wurden ganz fein gezeichnet, so sehen sie wie echt aus.
Ihre Wimpern habe ich fein gerootet, sie sehen deshalb ganz fein aus wie bei einem Neugeborenen eben auch.
I
have weighted her body with fibrefill, a sack of steel granulate and
very realistic "baby fat" soft pellets. Her arms and legs are filled
with glass beads and fibrefill.
Her head is also weighted with a sack of steel granulate and fibrefill, so you have to hold her little head like a real baby.
Milos weight is real balanced, she will lay in your arms like a real baby. If you hold this little wonder you will never let it go!

Milo ihr Körper wurde mit Fiberfill Watte, einem Säckchen mit rostfreiem
Edelstahlgranulat und "Babyspeck" Softgranulat befüllt. Der Körper fühlt
sich dadurch schön speckig an, wie Babyspeck.
Die Arme und Beine wurden mit Glasgranulat und Fiberfill Watte beschwert.
Das
Köpfchen wurde ebenfalls mit der Watte und einem Säckchen
Edelstahlgranulat befüllt, sodass man es immer stützen muss, wie bei
einem echten Baby auch.
Milo ist realistisch gewichtet,wenn man die Kleine im Arm hält, ist es als ob man ein echtes Baby hält.
Sie wollen sie nicht mehr loslassen!
