XLR STYLE JACK!

For adapting the Yaesu microphone system to the
high quality broadcast balanced microphones requiring
the 3-pin XLR style jack
(Also available are other manufacturers transceiver
microphone plugs adapted to the same 3-pin XLR style jacks).
FOR ALL YAESU TRANSCEIVER MODELS
WITH THE 8-PIN MICROPHONE PLUG.
This cable is professionally assembled under a high powered stereo viewing system,
using a special new 8-pin Microphone plug and a new XLR 3-pin jack
and a shielded, 2-wire plus ground audio cable, about 6 feet long.
Both connectors are assembled with heat shrink tubing over each soldered pin.
Then a second layer of heat shrink is added over the complete pin assembly
to further isolate the contact pins from the metal jacket.
A third layer of heat shrink tubing is added internally for strain relief for the cable.
This cable is now industrially rated and protected from heavy use.
All my cables are made this way.
UNDERSTAND... this cable is intended to plug into the 8-pin Microphone Jack.
The microphone is wired to pins 8 & 7. The shield ground is wired to pin 5.
Each cable is independently and thoroughly tested with my FT-950 and my
broadcast style microphone, an Electrovoice DS-15, to insure they work perfectly.
Most Yaesu transceivers will work perfectly with this cable
when used with a dynamic broadcast microphone.
(I also have the 8-pin & 10-pin Mini-DIN cables for linear amplifier control
available under a different EBAY listing.)
As with all plugs and jacks, they must be aligned and inserted carefully.
Be sure to line it up properly before pushing it fully home.
