The backbone of FORAGE OATS PLUS is “Whitetail Oats”, a high-sugar, cold-tolerant forage oat that is only available in Whitetail Institute products.
This oat variety has extreme attractiveness to deer because of its high sugar content, and is winter-hardy.
Small amounts of winter wheat and triticale are also included in FORAGE OATS PLUS to enhance winter-hardiness even further.
Whitetail Institute FORAGE OATS PLUS is designed to thrive in a wide range of soil types, from slightly sandy to heavy bottomland. Loamy to heavy soils are best. Fertilize 17-17-17 at 400 lbs per acre. Seeds must be covered by soil when planted. Ideal depth is 1 inch. For best production do not plant more than 1.5 inches deep.

The buyer pays shipping according to the zip code, shipping from PA, please check the shipping calculator, shipping includes delivery confirmation/tracking. Please wait for an invoice if buying more than one item so shipping may be combined. In the USA, including AK, HI, PR and VI, up to 1 lb seed weight will not be over 5.00 shipping priority small flat rate, up to 12 lbs will not be more than 10.50 priority med flat rate, up to 17 lbs will not be ore than 14.20 priority large flat rate. Large orders may be shipped UPS, please wait for an invoice when buying multiple items or large amounts. OVER-PAID shipping is refunded back through paypal if the overpayment is 1.00 or more.

RETURNS;
If there is any problem with your order please email me. I
accept returns if seed bags are un-opened, buyer pays
return shipping. The price is refunded back through paypal
upon receipt of the returned seeds, shipping to or from
the buyer is not refunded.
In the case an item is not as described, or other rare
seller mistake, then I will pay the return shipping and
refund full amount paid including shipping costs.
