I LOVE how this turned out..I made this old quilt stocking out of an old antique quilt! The trim is old furry fabric that I cut from
a vintage Santa hat....all hand stitched in place..I made 3 of my snowmen faces out of warm & natural quilt batting..all have sweet
hand stitched faces...I've attached them all together and attached them to a stick then added them inside the mitten..Lots of preserved
fragrant Sweet Annie inside, along with burgundy pip berries for a splash of color, and some rusty stars! I've also added 3 grungy wax dipped
candy canes made out
of red & white pipe cleaners....I made a grungy little Christmas mouse out of warm & Natural with hand stitched eyes...his whiskers and tail are stitched
cottom thread....He is attached to the stocking by hand stitching and a little hot glue....I tied a piece of grungy cheese cloth around the stocking and added a rusty bell.....I've included on a grungy hang
tag cut from dirty osnaburg fabric that says "Winter 1870".....everything is sprinkled with lots of real German glass glitter!
I LOVE this stuff...it reminds me of the old Christmas decorations from when I was a kid :).....you will LOVE this!
It measures about 27" tall from the top of the snowmen's heads to the bottom of the stocking....the Sweet Annie makes it taller!
It measures about 10" across at the center....
